mEN'S mINISTRY

Like never before, our world needs men: real men, authentic men, men who have the courage to take a stand, to make a difference in their church, their workplace, and their homes.

Philippians 1:20

I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death.

Men's Bible Study

This group is to inspire and equip men to pursue authentic manhood on a spiritual path that will take them on a journey with Jesus into the deep waters.  Meet us Monday mornings from 6:30-7:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.  Park in the lot with the electronic marquee and enter at the Welcome Center circle.  All men are invited to this group led by Eddy Curry.

Fight Club

Fight Club is a Bible study that "prepares men for the fight of their lives." We study the Bible and how to apply it in leading our families and serve Christ.  This group meets Sunday evenings from 5:30-7 p.m. in Room 116 and is led by Paul Naredo.

1:20 groups

These small groups get their name from Philippians 1:20.  They are designed to help men have the strength to live a life of biblical courage.  The groups will meet at various times during the week.  There will be a Q and A time each week and a study to work through.  Once the group is formed they will be closed.  Closing the groups gives its member the confidence and trust knowing what goes on in these groups will stay in these groups.  With accountability in mind, men will be challenged to have the courage to be honest, to be different, to grow in their relationship with God, to stand up for those in need, to have a pure thought life, to be faithful with God's resources, and to trust God with their futures.  For more information about starting or being part of a 1:20 group contact Jeff Scott.
