We believe the Christian faith is meant to be expressed in community. We strive to be that kind of Christ-following community that fosters ongoing discipleship and mission as well as a true “home away from home” for our college students.
We seek to foster this kind of community through our weekly ministry routine as well as our various events which have included things like:
• Fall and Spring Retreats
• Spring Break and Summer Mission Trips
• Christmas Party
• Service Projects
• Regular hangouts around Abilene or at the church.
9 AM – Worship: We worship at 9 AM in one of our two service locations on campus.
10:30 AM – College Bible Study: At 10:30, we gather around tables for fellowship, a brief message, and intentional discussion in the gym foyer.
6 PM – FREE Meal: On Sunday nights throughout the semester, adult leaders cook a meal for our students to give them a place to connect and eat really good food. It is free! No strings attached! We just do this because we love you!
DURING THE WEEK
Times TBD – Home Teams: These are student-led, intentional community groups that meet in homes during the week. They are student-led and adult-hosted and are centered around Acts 2:42-47.
Other Opportunities in the College Ministry
We believe in loving our community and world through regular outreach opportunities and a yearly mission trip. We also provide opportunities to serve within our church in whatever area you are passionate about!
We believe doing life together means having fun together! We have regular large-group events like our retreats, themed parties, etc. as well as smaller impromptu hangouts led by our students!
Interested in leading intentionally in our church and college ministry? Jesus intentionally invested in leaders and we seek to do the same. This is for students who want to help lead in and lead out in our college ministry.
